"I have worked with Jill for over four years on four podcasts — two ongoing ones, one limited-run series, and we are assisting with launching another. Her work is amazing — not only does she make magic happen from a technical perspective (how did she erase that loud ventilation noise at a live on-site recording?), she is a true creative partner. She will work with you to help make sure you’re telling the story you want to tell in a compelling manner to your audience. She’s made me a better host, without a doubt. Without her perspective, skills, and hard work on each and every episode, I can guarantee that there is no way I would have been able to still be podcasting (with two national awards!) over 4 years later, given my (multiple) other roles and responsibilities. Drop her a note — you won’t regret it.”

"Jill is exceptionally talented at managing the intellectual, emotional, creative, and technical work of producing a successful podcast. When my friend and I wanted to develop something about Shakespeare based on our expertise as professors, we had no idea how to get started. Jill helped us navigate the entire process—encouraging us to lead with our strengths, while keeping us on track when it came to framing and organizing each episode for a wider audience. She talked us through how to write a successful intro and outro, created our theme music, and told us what equipment to purchase so that we could record in our homes hundreds of miles from each other. Through her expert editing, she makes us sound amazing every time. She's coached us on how to keep our banter lively and authentic, and kept us motivated to create new content. Thanks to her, we’ve reached more people than we ever imagined we could—and won awards for doing it!"

"Simply put, when you find someone as intelligent and talented at their craft as Jill Ruby, you count your blessings. I would never consider working with anyone else on a podcasting effort. She is one of those rare professionals whom became a part of our own team's in all ways, truly integrated in mission and production, immediately upon meeting her and after beginning work on our project. She was patient and constructive with a process “led” by mostly first-timers, listening intently, coming back with feedback and incredible ideas, letting us work our way through with expert and gentle oversight and recommendations. Jill thrived on being able to research our topic and bring a fresh perspective to our efforts and managed to keep us on schedule and within budget. I consider my time with her one of the most rewarding in my career, as I learned so much within the creative and positive space Jill provided."

I have worked with Jill Ruby as both a guest on a podcast she produced, and, for the last 15 months, as a host on podcasts she produces. From both perspectives, Jill is an absolute delight. She is professional, technically adept, attentive to detail, a great communicator, has excellent journalistic skills and instincts, and has a keen sense for a story. But she is also warm, engaging, exceptionally personable, and brings out the best in guests and hosts alike. I am grateful - and feel very lucky - to work with her.

Jill is amazing! In just a few short months, she took our team's fledgling ideas for a podcast and turned them into a compelling six-part series. She kept the project moving forward despite multiple obstacles; even when something seemed impossible, Jill made it happen. She was quick to respond to any concerns we had, paid careful attention to every detail, and blew us away with the quality of her work. She was the picture of preparedness and professionalism. I cannot recommend Jill highly enough to anyone wanting to develop and produce a captivating podcast. She's incredible!

Jill is an absolute joy to work with and creates incredible results! Her professionalism and expertise are immediately obvious, and she instilled complete confidence among experienced as well as novice podcasters on our team. Jill thoughtfully took the time to learn about our team, our aims, and our audience, and as a result, she knew exactly how to help us develop the content and structure of our podcast series. Production meetings were remarkably efficient, but more than that, Jill made the entire process thoroughly enjoyable! Jill’s guidance and answers to our questions were always extremely helpful and reflected her total commitment to our project. Jill’s technical skills during recording and post-production were brilliant, and the final product was truly impressive and well-received by our audience. I cannot thank Jill enough for helping us bring our vision to reality, and I encourage anyone seeking a producer to collaborate with her—she is fantastic!
